Getting to NAU should be easy. That’s why we offer 90/30 degrees and the 2NAU joint-admission program so that you can transfer more credits from your local community college.

There’s also another way: AGEC.

These four letters are your golden ticket to guaranteed admission to NAU.

So, What Is AGEC?

The Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) is a 35-38 semester-credit general education certificate that fulfills the lower-division general education requirements at NAU. You can complete the AGEC at your local community college or tribal college in Arizona.

You can choose from three AGEC certificate options:

What’s In It For You?

Completing the AGEC guarantees your admission to NAU.

You read that right.

You can count on being an NAU student long before you apply to NAU by simply completing the AGEC certificate with at least a cumulative 2.5 GPA.

Plus, completing the AGEC means satisfying all of NAU’s lower-division general education requirements. That’s more credits you can transfer to NAU.

Is The AGEC Right For You?

The AGEC isn’t right for everyone. But it could be right for you.

Your NAU advisor will work with you to see if the AGEC fits your career goals, help establish an academic plan, and answer all your questions. Get started here
